Aaron Rodgers’ Instagram post for Garrett Wilson has hidden message

Aaron Rodgers can’t hide his affection for some of his Packers past — try as he might.

In his Instagram Story post stating his “love” for Jets receiver Garrett Wilson with ex-Packer and current Raiders star Davante Adams, Rodgers tagged another familiar face on his rear end: Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari.

The hilarious move by Rodgers to tag Bakhtiari potentially has meaning on multiple levels since Rodgers is known for being deliberate with his messaging.

Rodgers and Bakhtiari were teammates in Green Bay for 10 years and have a very strong relationship.

The Jets also offensive line has been getting pitiful reviews in training camp.

Bakhtiari, who turns 32 in September, would fill a massive need for the Jets.

The two-time First Team All-Pro tackle is under contract with the Packers through the 2024 season.

The Packers are also in the middle of a transition and potentially could be swayed to make a move since they’re not entering this season with championship aspirations without Rodgers.

The Jets have built their roster with a win-now approach, with the signing of running back Dalvin Cook being their latest significant addition.

The Jets have brought in a handful of ex-Packers already this offseason: receivers Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Malik Taylor, backup quarterback Tim Boyle, safety Adrian Amos, and offensive tackles Billy Turner and Adam Pankey to protect Rodgers.

Offensive coordinator Nathanial Hackett is also the former player caller for Rodgers during some of his time in Green Bay.

For now, their left tackle spot is set to be manned by Turner — per the team’s depth chart — with Mekhi Becton taking leaps forward in his quest to be a potential starting right tackle.

Rodgers and Bakhtiari each made First-Team All-Pro together in 2020, a rare feat also completed by Ronnie Staley and Lamar Jackson the season prior.

The long-time friends had an epic beer chug off at a Milwaukee Bucks playoff game in 2019, with Bakhtiari triumphing
