Photo of Kate Middleton, Prince Louis at Jubilee up for award

A picture-perfect family!

Kate Middleton and her youngest son, Prince Louis, are two of the subjects featured in photographs nominated for the IMAGO Photograph of the Year.

The iconic snapshot of the little prince, 5, slapping his hand over the Princess of Wales’ mouth at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant back in June 2022 is up for the award.

Actually, several members of the royal family are spotted in nine of the 20 finalists’s photos.

Another shot that is seen in the competition is Louis screaming when he plugged his ears as the late Queen Elizabeth looks on at the Jubilee bash.

One photo was of the monarch — who died in September 2022 at the age of 96 — during her last public appearance.

She was photographed at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Sept. 6, 2022, to welcome Liz Truss as the United Kingdom’s new prime minister.

A separate snap was of the sovereign’s funeral at Westminster Abbey last year.

Another photo featured King Charles looking through a red box shortly after he was declared the new monarch upon the death of his mother.

People can vote for their favorite image by Sept. 5 and the victors will be announced on Oct. 15.

Photographer Samir Hussein is one of the finalists and expressed his delight at being a contender for one of his photos on X (formerly known as Twitter) earlier this week.

“Really happy to have my photo of the Queen & Prince Louis nominated for Photo of the Year at the Picture Editor Awards. A real honor to be recognized amongst such stunning images. The winner is chosen by the public so would really appreciate a vote,” he penned.

The shutterbug had filmed the pic of Louis wailing alongside his great-grandmother on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at the Jubilee.

Louis has been quite the fan-favorite royal in recent years, known for making funny faces to the cameras and basically being the life of the party.

His antics have been seen at several engagements, including last year’s Trooping the Colour parade and more.

The tyke is currently fourth in the line of succession to the British throne, after his father, Prince William, and his two elder siblings, George, 10, and Charlotte, 8.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward recently told the Sun that Louis “has the perks and privileges of his position — plus the luxuries — without the fuss and responsibility of ever having to be King himself.”
