Pamela Anderson is getting candid about her new outlook on beauty.
The actress and activist, 56, opened up about accepting her new natural look — which she showed off during Paris Fashion Week — and her mantra about self-acceptance and aging in a new interview with Sidia the Brand.
When asked in a TikTok video what her biggest beauty secret was, the star admitted, “These days? Don’t do anything.”
“Wake up, whatever is happening is just happening. It’s all about self-acceptance,” she explained. “This is the chapter of my life I’m trying to embrace now.”
However, the Baywatch actress also acknowledged that getting to that point of “self-acceptance” can be “challenging” at first, especially with beauty standards edge toward looking younger.
“Sometimes it’s challenging and you just have to understand that you are good enough and that you are beautiful,” Anderson said, adding that she now likes to “say the word life-ing instead of aging.”
“Chasing youth is just futile,” she added.
She said that most people are “not going to get there” and become a younger version of themselves so “why not just embrace what’s going on?”
“And since I’ve really kind of just walked out the door as me, I feel like a relief, just a weight off my shoulders,” she revealed. “And I actually like it better. I’m dressing for me now and not for everybody else.”
Last week, the With Pamela, A Love Story star showed off this new outlook while attending a few Fashion Week events, like the Isabel Marant Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 show. She wore a bright yellow, ankle-length dress and notably went bare-faced to the event with her long blonde locks worn down in a natural wave.
The natural beauty has also been sporting a more subtle look these days compared to her style after rising to fame in the ’90s, and had been advocating for other women to do the same.

In an interview with Elle last month, she said she’s begun to stray away from her “wild and uninhibited” ’90s style, which she embraced while married to rocker Tommy Lee, to pursue a makeup-free lifestyle that has been “freeing and fun.”
“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older,” she said. “And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.”
