Rebecca Loos is speaking out about her past alleged affair with David Beckham and the comments he made in his docuseries three weeks after Beckham premiered on Netflix. “It’s all, ‘poor me,’” Rebecca, 46, told Daily Mail in an interview on October 21.

“He needs to take responsibility,” she added. “He can say whatever he likes, of course, and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim, and he’s making me look like a liar, like I’ve made up these stories.”

Rebecca went on to allege that, “Yes, the stories were horrible, but they’re true,” referring to her past claims in 2004 that she and David, 48, were intimate during his relationship with wife Victoria Beckham. “He talks in the documentary about this ultimately being his private life, shutting it down. I think it’s one thing to keep your private life to yourself. It’s another thing to mislead the public.”

“So many people had forgotten about all of this,” Rebecca acknowledged. “So many people put all this behind them, this whole affair, the scandal and everything. And he’s dragged it back up again in a way that is affecting my reputation. I think if he was going to touch on this time and how difficult it was, it would have been really nice for him to have said, ‘It was not my proudest time.’ But he specifically made it look like … my fault, that he had nothing to do with this.”

Rebecca concluded her interview by apologizing for her alleged past actions “and the way [she] handled it” but pointed out that “life’s biggest mistakes are the best lessons learned.”

“I want people to be insisted,” she explained. “I want families to be happy. I don’t want to break things up.”

Earlier this month, Rebecca replied to an Instagram commenter who advised the former model to “stay strong,” as she wrote back, “Thank you, [I] am taking in the nasty comments with as much humor as I can.”

During the documentary, Victoria, 49, revealed that she and David were “the most unhappy” after the cheating accusations surfaced in the early 2000s. Though David at the time denied having any affairs, the fashion designer admitted that the news affected their marriage.

It was the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life,” Victoria said. “It wasn’t that I felt unheard because I was always mindful of the focus that he needed … Here’s the thing — we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest.”
