Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. was struck by a vehicle in Philadelphia on Saturday night, according to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
According to the report, Oubre was struck near his residence and was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Wojnarowski reported that Oubre is expected to miss “significant” time due to the injuries but he is not expected to miss the rest of the season.
Local authorities are now investigating, per Wojnarowski.
Oubre, who signed a one-year deal with Philadelphia before the season, has averaged 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in his first season with the club.
