Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski crash trial is getting the musical treatment

Get ready for “I Wish You Well: The Musical.”

A musical based on Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski crash trial is coming soon to London’s Pleasance Theatre.

From Dec. 13 until Dec. 23, “Gwyneth Goes Skiing” will delight British audiences with a parodied version of the real-life drama between Paltrow and Terry Sanderson, 76, a retired optometrist who claimed she injured him in a collision on the Salt Lake City, Utah, slopes.

Famed dance and electronic artist Leland created the score.

The show’s description reads, ‘She’s the Goop-founding, Door-Sliding, Shakespeare-In-Loving, consciously-uncoupling Hollywood superstar. He’s a retired Optometrist from Utah. In 2016, they went skiing.”

“On the slopes of Deer Valley, their worlds collided, and so did they – literally. Ouch. Seven years later in 2023, they went to court. Double ouch.”

The musical is happening in London next month.

It concludes, “This is their story. Kind of. Not really,” the description goes on. “A story of love, betrayal, skiing, and (somehow) Christmas – where you are the jury!”

The Post has contacted Paltrow for comment.

The lawsuit stemmed from a 2016 collision between Paltrow and Sanderson when they were both skiing at the Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.

Sanderson claimed in the lawsuit that the “Iron Man” actress was responsible for “knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries.”

He sought $300,000 in damages while Paltrow countersued for $1, claiming that it was Sanderson who actually collided with her.

After deliberating for 2 hours and 32 minutes, the jury of eight in Utah’s Third District Court ultimately sided with the Goop founder, who maintained that Dr. Terry Sanderson, caused the crash.

As she left the courtroom Paltrow infamously whispered “I wish you the best” to Sanderson.

Following the verdict, Paltrow released a statement saying: “I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”
