Lions vs. Packers, Falcons vs. Saints predictions: NFL odds, picks

The Wildcat returns for his 27th season in The Post.

Including the 1997-2022 in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print, Cat’s record in print stands at 694-604-4.

DETROIT LIONS (-7.5) over Green Bay Packers

Thursday’s opener for Thanksgiving appears clear cut.

The Pack is clearly a squad in relative decline, while the Lions are rapidly on the ascent, and should take advantage of the Pack’s year-to-year direction.

Lions lead NFC Central by 2¹/₂ games, with good reason. Lions, 32-20.

ATLANTA FALCONS (+1) over New Orleans Saints

We should know more about N’Awlins QB Derek Carr’s status (concussion protocol) before game time, but with WR Michael Thomas and CB Marshon Lattimore still injured, the Saints are up against it.

In addition to QB Desmond Ridder assuming command under center for the Falcons, Black Bird defense should prove sufficiently effective to make most of their offensive forays in what looms as a defensive struggle.

Betting on the NFL?

Atlanta draws even with N.O. in the NFC South standings. Falcs, 16-10.

Last week: 0-2. Seahawks (L), Titans (L)
2023 season: 9-12-1.
