Don’t expect many big plays on “Thursday Night Football” when the Steelers host Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.
Oddsmakers have pegged the total at 30 points, the lowest we have seen this season.
BetMGM’s John Ewing told The Post it’s the lowest total since at least 2008, when the Ryan Fitzpatrick-led Bengals faced the Ken Dorsey-led Browns on Dec. 21, 2008.
The line closed at 31 points and it still went under in Cincinnati’s 14-0 victory that featured 38 carries for 171 yards by former Bengal Cedric Benson.
Ben Fawkes further reported that the Patriots-Bengals game on Dec. 12, 1993, also had a total of 30 points.
The Patriots were 5.5-point favorites in that matchup and lost a cover with 19 seconds remaining in their 7-2 win.
On fourth down, backed up against their own goal line, New England coach Bill Parcells decided to snap the ball into his own end zone and take a safety rather than risk a blocked punt touchdown.
Thursday’s low total stems from the uninspiring quarterback situation for both teams.
It is a complete unknown who will start at quarterback for the Patriots, with options ranging from Mac Jones to Bailey Zappe or even Malik Cunningham.
With Zappe starting in Week 12, the Patriots mustered zero points against a Chargers defense that is far from elite in a 6-0 loss.

The Steelers will be starting backup Mitch Trubisky after Kenny Pickett suffered a high-ankle sprain that will sideline him Thursday.
The two teams average a combined 28.3 points per game, with the Patriots ranking last at 12.3 points per game and the Steelers ranking 26th with 16.
