It didn’t take long for a group of spectators to try and outdo YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul after he defeated MMA legend Nate Diaz Saturday night.
Just moments after Paul out-pointed Diaz by a unanimous decision, fans decided to test out their own fight skills.
The altercation saw fists flying between event-goers with shirts ripped off and multiple scuffles involving roughly a dozen people as others watched with a mix of laughter and disappointment.
Many people stood by idly, with security seemingly nowhere to be found.
In one instance, a man wearing a white hat and no shirt was taken down by a combatant with the back of his head hitting the marble floor.
Simultaneously, a two-on-one mismatch played out in front of a Cheetos concession stand where a man wearing an unbuttoned blue shirt attempted to or did soccer kick two others involved in the skirmish.
The ridiculous brawl was finally shut down by security towards the end of the video while hundreds of people stood and watched the post-fight tussle.
The boxing match between Paul and Diaz was well received by a raucous crowd that anxiously cheered throughout the event.
Paul — who won by one score of 97-92 and two tallies of 98-91 on the judges’ scorecards — continued his dominant run against MMA fighters in the boxing ring, defeating every opponent he has faced, including two devastating knockouts of Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
Paul knocked down Diaz in the fifth round of their bout, which was contested at a 185-pound catchweight.
Although fellow MMA troublemaker Dillon Danis has thrown around some thought-provoking fight-fixing claims surrounding Paul’s boxing matches, which he promotes.
