Cowboys fans leak address, phone number of players after Bills loss

Flag these fans for despicable behavior.

Two Cowboys players detailed to the Dallas Morning News how two fans individually listed the home address and phone number for the pair following Sunday’s blowout loss to the Bills.

Cowboys safety Juanyeh Thomas had his phone number listed, while safety Jayron Kearse had his home address posted by another fan after the 31-10 setback.

“I can take criticism,” Thomas told the paper. “But you do cross a line when you start doing dumb stuff like that, for real. It’s a line you can’t cross when you start sharing people’s addresses and numbers and stuff. At the end of the day, this is still a game. People got a life.”

Kearse found himself in the crosshairs after an uninspiring performance in the loss, with some fans reacting negatively to a post in which he questioned a penalty against him.

One fan, though, crossed the line when the individual posted his address.

He reacted “negatively” per the paper, and the post was deleted.

Thomas, who had been defending Kearse on Twitter, then had his phone number posted, and he responded after a team official alerted him of the situation.

He then lashed out at a fan before deleting that post at the suggestion of a team official.

A Cowboys official said the team has encountered these types of incidents for years.

“I had to change my number,” Thomas told the Dallas Morning News. “People [were] texting me, calling me. I’m like damn, bro. I don’t even know how people can leak your number.”

He later added: “I was more so mad. For real, wow, why would you do that?”

Kearse still has a response listed on his page to a fan telling him to not respond to the individuals posting his address that states: “F–k you, faith family football in that order. Playing with my family will get you hurt.”

Fellow Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons also recently lashed out at Cowboys critics for pouncing on the team after a down game following a hot streak.
