The Mahomes family is getting into the holiday spirit.
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, posted a collection of new holiday photos Sunday on Instagram that featured the couple and their two children, daughter Sterling Skye, 2, and 1-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III.
Captioned, “Merry Christmas Eve,” the family of four can be seen smiling as they sit together in front of a Christmas tree and Santa Claus.
Brittany’s post comes one day before the Chiefs host the Raiders in a Christmas Day clash at Arrowhead Stadium.
Mahomes, who married Brittany in March 2022, told Pro Football Talk last week he has mixed feelings about playing on Dec. 25.
“I’m excited because you get that standalone [game]. You get to play at Arrowhead [Stadium] at 12:00. I mean, everybody’s gonna be just opening presents and getting the food in them and then they’re going to be the happiest they possibly can be, and they’re gonna turn on and see the Kansas City Chiefs playing. So I’m excited about that,” the two-time league MVP said.
“I’m a little disappointed I’m going to miss Christmas Eve with my kids and Christmas morning and miss Santa coming. But I’ll be able to spend the evening with them and open presents with them then. So, it’ll be a great opportunity. I’m excited for that. We’ll miss the kids a little bit but we’ll celebrate after the game’s over.”
Mahomes and Brittany, both 28, welcomed daughter Sterling in 2021, with Bronze arriving last November.
In addition to Christmas, the Chiefs will also play on New Year’s Eve next Sunday against the Bengals.
It remains to be seen if the newest member of Chiefs Kingdom, pop megastar Taylor Swift, will be in attendance.
Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has attended seven Chiefs games this season and has sat with Brittany for a number of them.
The duo supported Kansas City on the road last weekend when they defeated the Patriots, 27-17, in New England.
Page Six previously reported that Swift and Kelce, both 34, will spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve together in Kansas City.
