Willow Smith is stripping down for her new music.
The 23-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith — who releases music under just Willow — dropped the artwork for her new single, “Symptom Of Life,” Monday on social media.
In the black-and-white cover shot by photographer Salomé Gomis-Trezise, Willow shows off some major side breast as she wraps her arms around her bare chest, resting her tattooed hand on her shoulders.
“My new single <symptom of life> comes out next week on 3/12 !! pre-save it now !! link in bio,” she captioned the post on Instagram.
In a clothed video posted Friday, Smith seemingly played a snippet of the new song, captioning the video, “Y’all are not ready.”
Smith burst onto the music scene in 2010 with the fun-loving “Whip My Hair.” In 2022, she released her fifth album, a pop-punk record titled “Coping Mechanism.” She’s collaborated with the likes of Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, Camila Cabello, and Kid Cudi.
In November, Smith told Rolling Stone that she is moving away from the rock sound on her upcoming album.
“For ‘Coping Mechanism’ I was almost never sober in the studio. And for this new album, I was sober for every single recording session,” she explained, without elaborating too much on her new sound. “I feel like my mind state was extremely different.”
Willow comes from a musical family. Will, 55, is a Grammy-winning rapper who got his start in the hip hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince.
Jada, 52, formed a nu-metal band in 2002 called Wicked Wisdom. The short-lived group reunited in 2021 to perform “Bleed All Over Me” with Willow for a Mother’s Day episode of “Red Table Talk.”
Will and Jada’s son, Jaden, 25, is also a rapper with nearly 4 million listeners on Spotify. He’s a longtime collaborator with Justin Bieber, starting with their 2010 song, “Never Say Never,” and has also worked with Tyler, The Creator and Young Thug to name a few.
