Renowned for her progressive melodic techno productions, the Slovak DJ and record producer leaves no doubt to the imagination, with each endeavour speaking volumes on the raw talent she possesses. An artist to watch, we could not be happier to be joined by Plasmatique herself, as she talks main inspirations and influences, the origin of her style of play, her latest release ‘Stranger Than Fiction,’ plans, and so much more.

Hello, and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music?

“Thank you for having me. I started as an engineer / Assistant  in a studio as I was my whole life totally into music. When I finally got the chance to work in a professional surrounding I started cutting audio and learning about Eqing and mixing. After a while I teamed up with a partner and opened a music production company with a studio. My second musical passion is to be a DJ. I started a couple of years ago and it fulfills me with great joy making people dance and share energy and emotion through music.”

With versatility a key aspect in the dance scene, we would like to know the origin of your style of play and how it may have evolved over time?

“When I was younger I was introduced to Armin van Buuren and Tiesto and I saw them play and I just loved the energy of Trance Music. My Partner showed me a lot of Dubstep and Drum`n`Base. When I heard Pryda, Cyrez D and Stephan Bodzin I was hooked on a more Progressive and Melodic Style.”

Renowned for your unique approach towards music production, could you talk us through the key elements that define your sound, and what makes it stand out from the rest?

“The red line in all my productions is my love for arpeggiated Synths. I love the energy and atmosphere a synth line can create. A musical piece is just a moment. A picture that captivates one moment. That is why  my tracks are very different and versatile.”

Blessing fans alike with your latest release, ‘Stranger Than Fiction,’ we would like to know the main thought process behind this production, as well as the overall message it has set out to convey.

“I cannot recall where I read this phrase ‘Stranger Than Fiction’ it struck me like lightning. Our life is sometimes stranger than fiction. Life writes the best stories and we all know the feeling of waking up, having a horrid dream, which felt so real. I wanted to write about it and I asked my friend Birke to sing it as she could transport my lyrics, I thought. The instrumental came after the vocal line and it was developing fast as the vocal set the pace for the track.”

Delivering the most enticing of vibes with each of your live performances, could you talk us through your presence on stage, and whether or not there’s a particular preparation process before each show?

“Every show is different, I watch the audience and start playing to get the people dancing and enjoying the time with me, Plasmatique. What sort of bothers me, is that a lot of people assuming I have a pre recorded set or use sync. That is not the case, for sure I am preparing new additions to my set and try different things, but all my sets are life and catching the momentum.”

Releasing music under the most well-renowned of record labels, including HARTHOUSE, we would like to know the impact this has had on you as an artist, as well as a dance music enthusiast?
“Releasing with labels like Harthouse has been a dream and I am very happy to make that dream come true and it is not the end of the road.”

With 2025 slowly coming to an end, could you provide us with any hints on what the future holds for Plasmatique, always in terms of new music, upcoming collaborations and live performances?

“As 2025 was a little more quiet for Plasmatique. 2026 will be more action filled. I have a lot of music coming up, beautiful tracks with some vocalists I have been working on and I am planning to play more live.”
