Oasis says 2026 reunion tour won’t happen

Liam Gallagher has confirmed that the Oasis reunion tour will not return in 2026. In response to fan speculation, Gallagher replied simply “NO” when asked if the band would take the stage next year-— and followed up with a definitive “YES I’M FUCKING SERIOUS”.

Moreover, Gallagher hinted that while 2026 is off the table, a later year might be possible. When one fan asked about 2027, he responded, “Maybe.” Notably, the tour is rounding out its final dates in Brazil, marking the conclusion of a comeback that ranked among the most anticipated events in rock music.

In posts on social media, Gallagher clarified that while he personally would keep touring “till the day we die,” he reminded fans that band decisions don’t rest solely with him: “If it was all up to me … you’d know we’d be touring till the day we die … UNFORTUNATELY it’s not.” Although he admitted the door isn’t fully closed for the future, the 2026 window is confirmed off the books.

For now, fans hoping to catch the classic lineup on tour again will face disappointment. Gallagher’s remarks signal that any further stage appearances from Oasis will hinge on internal discussions and planning beyond next year.
