Faithless mark a major milestone this week as they honour 30 years of their legendary anthem ‘Insomnia’ with a newly curated digital EP and a special picture disc release. Although the classic mixes have lived online for years, the group now brings them together for the first time in a single streaming package. Moreover, the EP arrives on Friday, November 28, one day after the official anniversary, and features the original mix, radio mix, ‘Monster Mix’, ‘Moody Mix’, and ‘Tuff Mix’.
In addition to the digital release, Faithless unveil a limited-edition zoetrope vinyl picture disc as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday drop. The physical version mirrors the original 1995 Cheeky Records artwork, offering collectors a nostalgic yet elevated piece to celebrate the track’s legacy. Furthermore, fans can secure the vinyl and pre-save the digital EP ahead of its release later this week.
While the anniversary shines a light on the group’s past, contemporary artists continue to embrace ‘Insomnia’. Earlier this month, Disclosure released their own remix after introducing it during their 2025 Glastonbury set, adding a fresh layer to the track’s longstanding influence on dance culture.
Today, Sister Bliss and Rollo lead the project following the passing of Maxi Jazz in 2022. Throughout the year, they have toured their latest album ‘Champion Sound’, bringing the next chapter of Faithless music to fans around the world. Additionally, the band prepares to take on two major outdoor shows in summer 2026, ensuring the spirit of ‘Insomnia’ continues to resonate both onstage and beyond.
