Las Vegas brought the party to New York.
The Aces turned up at Barclays Center on Wednesday night after defeating the Liberty, 70-69, in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals.
After becoming the third team in league history to win consecutive titles (behind the Los Angeles Sparks and Houston Comets), the Aces enjoyed custom bottles of Michelob Ultra and Ace of Spades Brut Gold Champagne while they partied after the win.
Aces All-Star forward A’ja Wilson, who was named Finals MVP, had two bottles of bubbly and beer with her at the podium during her postgame press conference.
“Time to act a fool,” she wrote in an Instagram Story, which included a video that featured her sporting ski goggles — an accessory given to the winning team to wear during the celebratory champagne showers.
Wilson’s Aces teammates also crashed her press conference, according to social media videos.
Aces All-Star guard Kelsey Plum led the parade to the podium, all the while holding a speaker that blasted the Crime Mob song, “Knuck If You Buck.”
Another video circulating on social media showed Aces head coach Becky Hammon doing the “Tootsie Roll” dance while holding a Michelob Ultra.
The team’s official X account also shared a bunch of snaps of the reigning champs spraying champagne and celebrating.
Shortly after the game, the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas — where the Aces play home games at the Michelob Ultra Arena — illuminated in red, white and black to celebrate.
The Aces also received a plethora of congratulatory messages from fellow athletes and retired legends in their own sport.
Tom Brady, who retired from the NFL in February after 23 prolific seasons and seven Super Bowl titles, shared an emotional message after Game 4.
“On top of the world,” Brady, who is a minority owner of the Aces, wrote on his Instagram Story. “So proud of these women and this organization.
“Took everyone’s best shot all year long and never stumbled.”
The Aces announced on Instagram that a championship celebration will take place on Oct. 23.
