It’s a huge Saturday in college football, with multiple games that will help decide both conference and playoff positioning.
One of those games is Mississippi traveling to face Alabama with Nick Saban’s crew laying around a touchdown.
People are down on the Crimson Tide, and I get it.
This isn’t one of Saban’s best teams and they still have question marks at quarterback heading into October.
However, I like the decision to go back to Jalen Milroe.
While not a great passer, he gives the Tide their best chance to compete for an SEC title.
The Rebels have been the kings of misleading boxscores this season.
Ole Miss was tied with Tulane, which was missing its starting quarterback, heading into the fourth quarter.
Two scores in the final 1:53 gave the Rebels a 37-20 win, but the game was close throughout.
They also scored three touchdowns in the final five minutes versus Georgia Tech to blow that game open.
Betting on College Football?
In those two wins, the Rebels allowed an average of 139 rushing yards.
Look for Alabama to exploit this weakness and gash Ole Miss on the ground.
The look-ahead line for this game was Alabama -15.5.
Now the Tide are laying only 6.5. Give me the rare value on Alabama as they roll at home.
The play: Alabama -6.5.
