Two of the hottest teams in MLB since the All-Star break will meet on Friday when the Baltimore Orioles play at the Seattle Mariners.
Of course, the Orioles have been hot all season, surprising many by being the first team in the AL to reach 70 wins.
Baltimore starter Kyle Gibson (11-6, 4.50 ERA) has been on top of his game over the past month.
The veteran has allowed three runs or fewer in five of his last six starts, going 5-1 over that span.
Gibson got shelled in his one start versus Seattle this season, however, allowing seven hits and five runs over 3.0 innings in a 13-1 Mariners win.
Orioles vs. Mariners pick
Luis Castillo (7-7, 3.21 ERA) will be on the hill for Seattle.
Castillo got throttled by the Angels his last time out, giving up 10 hits and seven runs in 6.0 innings of work.
That hasn’t been the norm for Castillo this season. In his prior 13 starts, he allowed three runs or fewer 12 times.

The last time Castillo came off an outing in which he gave up six runs, he responded with one of his best performances of the year by not allowing an earned run to Houston over seven innings.
I like this spot for Seattle.
Current Mariners hitters own a career batting average of .421 against Gibson and I think we will see Castillo bounce back on Friday.
