Bandcamp issues advisory on US shipments post tariff changes

Bandcamp has issued a notice to customers about potential shipping disruptions for US-bound orders. The company explained that recent changes to global tariffs may lead to extra fees being on merchandise entering the United States.

As a result, some Bandcamp sellers may pause shipments to the US until the situation stabilizes. The platform also noted that quite a few international postal carriers have temporarily suspended delivery to the country. These restrictions do not come from artists or labels but from logistics providers and government regulations. Customers with concerns regarding orders are suggested to reach out directly to the seller through the “Contact” option on their webpage.

As part of a broader issue, shipping costs and regulations have become a big issue for music and merchandise sellers. Tariffs are often adjusted in response to trade policy changes, and even small increases can affect the pricing and availability of these goods.

While some artists may stop physical shipments temporarily, digital music purchases remain unaffected.
