Brandon Aiyuk’s girlfriend might’ve spilled too much tea about the 49ers receiver in a TikTok video Monday.
While explaining the couple’s travel plans after San Francisco’s 25-22 overtime loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 2024, Rochelle Searight seemingly hinted at a divorce between Aiyuk and the 49ers.
“This might have been the last day we touched foot on Levi’s Stadium … because we might not be out here next season,” Rochelle said in the video, explaining that she was at the Stadium to pick up Aiyuk after the devastating loss.
Later that day, Aiyuk shared a curious message on his Instagram Story with a pair of eyeball emojis, which read: “Don’t forget what you got there.”
Aiyuk also posted a photo of the couple with the caption: “Same ones!”
Aiyuk’s friend and former teammate, Draysean Hudson, appeared to weigh in on the situation in series of posts on his Instagram Story.
“This is the exact same reason we leaving San Francisco,” Hudson wrote. “Thank you 49ers for drafting my brother we are forever grateful. BA to Vegas.”
Hudson then posted a video of the moment Aiyuk was open for a touchdown, but 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was pressured by Chiefs tackle Chris Jones and threw an incompletion.
“Why does your All Pro 1300 yard receiver have 3 catches in the Super Bowl,” Hudson wrote, adding a pair of eyeball emojis.
Aiyuk is under contract for the 2024 season after the 49ers picked up his fifth-year option, but it’s possible the 49ers could consider a trade if they don’t believe they can keep him for the futre.
San Francisco selected Aiyuk in the first round (No. 25 overall) of the 2020 NFL draft, and he’s produced four strong seasons.
He had 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns this past season.
Aiyuk has a total 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns in his career.
Rochelle posted the video to explain her tough travel journey from Las Vegas, where Super Bowl 2024 was played at Allegiant Stadium, to San Francisco.
“Happy 49ers Travel Day of Shame,” she wrote over the clip.
“We just lost the Super Bowl and you know, this is what it’s like to date an NFL player,” Rochelle said, before explaining she went back and forth to the stadium.
Rochelle made headlines after the 49ers beat the Lions in the NFC Championship game on Jan. 28, when she fired back at those “being so rude” about NFL players dating “regular women” in a TikTok video.
“The majority of NFL players don’t date actresses and models,” she said at the time.
Rochelle and Aiyuk’s relationship stretches back to his college days playing at Arizona State.
The couple — who share a son, Braylon, born in September 2020 — has been together since at least November 2018, according to Searight’s Instagram.
Searight works in the beauty industry and is a digital content creator with more than 269,000 followers on TikTok.
