Britney Spears is calling out Ryan Seacrest’s behavior.
Spears claims in her newly released memoir, “The Woman In Me,” that the TV personality focused more on whether or not she was a fit mother than her album during a 2007 interview.
“The only press I did for ‘Blackout’ was a live radio interview with Ryan Seacrest when it came out in October 2007,” Spears, now 41, wrote.
“In the interview which was supposed to be about the record, Ryan Seacrest asked me questions like ‘How do you respond to those who criticize you as a mom’ and ‘Do you feel like you’re doing everything you can for your kids?’ and ‘How often will you see them?’ “
“It felt like that was the only thing people wanted to talk about: whether or not I was a fit mother,” Spears writes.
“Not about how I’d made such a strong album while holding two babies on my hips and being pursued by dozens of dangerous [paparazzi] all day every day.”
The Post reached out to Seacrest for comment.
Despite the uncomfortable exchange with Seacrest, who does not have any children of his own, Spears holds no ill feelings towards him — and has interviewed with the host several times since.
Also in her book, Spears recounts the subsequent court battle that ended with her kids Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, being placed into the custody of their father, Kevin Federline, now 45.
“My management team quit. A bodyguard went to court with [attorney] Gloria Allred by his side as a witness in the custody case,” the “Womanizer” songstress writes, adding that the bodyguard told the court Spears was doing drugs but was not cross-examined.
“A court-appointed parenting coach said that I loved my children and that we were clearly bonded,” she claimed. “[It] never made it into the headlines.”
Spears’ beef with Seacreast is just one of several bombshells the “Crossroads” actress drops in her memoir, which hit bookstores on Tuesday.
Some of the more eyebrow-raising revelations come from her romance with Justin Timberlake.
According to Spears, the “Mirrors” crooner asked her to have an abortion because “he was not ready to be a father.”
“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” the “Toxic” singer writes. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.
“I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision,” Spears continued. “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
Spears also claimed that Timberlake, now 42, cheated on her with “another celebrity” while they were dating, but she won’t reveal the woman’s identity because that person “now has a family” and Spears “doesn’t want to embarrass” them.
Following their 2002 split, Timberlake released his iconic ballad “Cry Me a River,” which led several fans to conclude that Spears had been unfaithful to the former teen heartthrob.
While Timberlake never officially stated that Spears had committed an indiscretion, the “Stronger” songstress never commented on the real reason for their split.
