Two of the NFL’s biggest fans visited Arrowhead Stadium for the Chargers-Chiefs game Sunday.
Yes, everyone knows Taylor Swift made her fourth appearance at a Chiefs game to support rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce.
But controversial Chargers superfan Merianne Do also watched Sunday’s game in person — although not from a suite like the pop megastar.
And for the second straight week, the Chargers failed Do, falling 31-17 to their division rivals and dropping to 2-4 on the season.
Do became a viral sensation during Week 6 when the ESPN cameras found her during the Chargers’ 20-17 home loss to the Cowboys.
The superfan seemed to be living with each play, showcasing passion both when the Chargers tied the game and later when they let the game slip away.
There weren’t as many viral moments this time around, although Do certainly enjoyed herself when the Chargers tied the game at 10-all in the second quarter.
The Chargers, however, only mustered seven points in the final 40-plus minutes of the game and did not score in the second half.
And, yes, Do did not beat Swift for television coverage.
She joked about that topic leading into the game.
“I could never say I could be the answer to Taylor Swift,” Do told ABC7. “But if you talk about passion for football, I think I have a little bit more.”
Do became a controversial figure last Monday since some social media folks believed her antics were so over the top that she had to be a plant for some entity or a paid actress.
Old photos surfaced of Do wearing Vikings gear, adding to the conspiracy theories.
Do is from Minnesota and acknowledged she has rooted for the Vikings, and promised she is 100 percent authentic.
“I wish I was being paid,” Do told TMZ. “If (the skeptics) only knew this is how I am every day. My kids are like, ‘Mommy this is how you are at my flag football game, why do they think you’re getting paid?’ I’m like, ‘I know, but they don’t know me.’”
Do seemed to be leaning into the controversy by wearing a “Buffalo Wild Wings” hat during the AFC West battle, which the food chain referenced in a tweet Sunday.
The Chargers will try to end their two-game, post-bye losing streak at home in Week 8 against the Bears. Do, a season-ticket holder, surely will be in attendance.
