Jalen Ramsey dished it right back at Eagles fans in Philadelphia.
The Dolphins cornerback, sidelined by knee surgery, heard plenty of chirps from the fans while on the sidelines during Sunday’s Dolphins-Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field.
In the brief war of words, Ramsey — continuing his recovery from a meniscus repair suffered on the second day of training camp — was seen calling a fan a “bitch” and “broke ass,” driving home the latter point by showing off his watch.
The star defender is no stranger to trash talk and brash action, having garnered headlines for a 2020 fight between the Rams and Giants in which Ramsey — then with Los Angeles — got into it with receiver Golden Tate over Ramsey’s relationship with Tate’s sister.
Ramsey was traded to Miami in March 2023 one year into a five-year, $100 million deal, so it’s safe to say he can afford a pricey timepiece.
The watch-showing practice has been in the spotlight in recent weeks, thanks in part to Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of ex-NFL great Deion Sanders.
The younger Sanders flexed a customized stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15500 with 30 carats of VVS diamonds valued at around $70,000 after defeating Arizona State and Nebraska.
The Eagles got the last laugh in this one, however, dealing Miami its second loss on the season, 31-17, though Ramsey may want to turn his attention from the fans to his recovery.
He returned to the practice field with the Dolphins as a limited participant Wednesday, as the team opened his 21-day practice window.
He is set to return in late November-early December.
