Mike Greenberg is going through it.
The ESPN host could barely make it through his morning monologue on Tuesday’s installment of “Get Up,” where he abruptly paused the show when he got emotional over Aaron Rodgers’ potential season-ending Achilles injury.
“Alright, I can’t do this,” Greenberg said. “I just can’t … Stop it. Kill the music; kill the graphics; kill the video.
“I can’t pretend this is alright. I cannot pretend this is a normal morning. I cannot do the big voice. I cannot pretend the energy is here.
“I’m sorry. I said I’m going to try and do the show normal today but these are not normal circumstances.”
Greenberg then pointed out former Damien Woody — a former Super Bowl-winning offensive guard, who played for the Jets from 2008-10 — who was sitting at the “Get Up” desk with his head down in his hand.
“He’s down,” Greenberg said, adding that he, Woody, fellow ESPN analysts Dan Graziano and Dominque Foxworth watched the Jets-Bills game together.
“[We were watching the game] at the house and in all honestly people want to know how I feel and the truth is there is no way in the world have I processed this,” said Greenberg, whose wife, Stacey documented his emotional rollercoaster on X when Rodgers suffered the injury in the first quarter.
“I understand that millions of things have happened yesterday in the world that in the big picture were more significant than this. But from a sports perspective, this is about as overwhelming as anything that could possibly happens … all the excitement and all the possibilities.
“For it to come to an end like that, that quickly, there is no way I have fully taken in the magnitude of what happened on the fourth play last night.”
Greenberg added: “I appreciate all of your messages of concern.”
Greenberg’s daughter, Nikki, also thanked those for checking in on her father in a hilarious post on X.
“Thank you everyone for your concern about my father’s mental state I am here to confirm it is not good,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Stacey shared photos of Greenberg looking devastated while wearing his No. 8 Rodgers jersey.
“Long night,” she captioned one photo, while another read: “Somber.”
Rodgers left the game in the Jets’ first series with a left ankle injury after he was sacked by Bills edge rusher Leonard Floyd.
Zach Wilson took over for the four-time MVP, who was eventually downgraded to out following negative x-rays.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh said after the game that the team fears Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury, and “it’s not good.”
Rodgers will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, which Saleh said “is probably going to confirm what we think is already going to happen.”
Saleh also said Wilson will be the starting quarterback going forward.
The Jets visit Dallas in Week 2 on Sept. 17.
