‘Extreme Weight Loss’ star Brandi Mallory’s final days: ‘I can’t lose!’

Brandi Mallory, the “Extreme Weight Loss” star who died unexpectedly last week, lived a public life in which she used her platform to inspire others to be the best version of themselves.

The 40-year-old makeup artist lived in the Atlanta, Georgia, area and lead fitness dance classes in the community.

Mallory appeared on “EWL” in 2014 on the ABC show’s fourth season. She lost over 150 pounds during her stint on the reality show, which earned her the title “Miss Extreme Weight Loss.”

More recently, Mallory was quite active on Instagram and posted everything from motivational quotes to dance workouts, outfits of the day, and videos of herself talking to the camera about various topics.

But on Nov. 9, Mallory was found dead in her car in the parking lot of a strip mall after eating at Chipotle the previous day.

Let’s take a look at Mallory’s social media activity in her final days.

Just over a week before her death, Mallory got into the Halloween spirit with a DIY project that made new pieces of paper look vintage and spooky.

“My inaugural event for my department was a hit!!! Here is the tea on how I made my paper look old! For me, everything is in the details,” Mallory captioned an Instagram video of herself pouring bottled tea into an aluminum pan to stain them.

“Fresh brewed tea would have been better but Cold works as well. It just has to soak a little longer! When it’s done, it looks and feels old! Then I burned it bc this witches (sic) spell book has been through some thangs!”

Mallory used bottled tea to dye pieces of paper for a work function.

She concluded, “Would you try this? Let me know what you think in the comments!”

Mallory sang along to a cover of SZA’s “Snooze” in her second-to-last-ever Instagram post on Nov. 2.

“The best question someone asked me was ‘Do you believe you can do it’?!” she captioned video footage of her seemingly out at a club where colorful flashing lights bounced around the frame.

Mallory appeared confident in a motivational Instagram post on Nov. 2.

“My response: “I can’t lose…I ONLY win!” she added, including a photo of her posed against a Mercedes G-Wagon.

Mallory concluded, “I learn lessons, gain experiences & most importantly I GROW! Pruning is a necessary step in the growth process, so embrace the suck! I believe I can do ANYTHING I truly desire to do which puts me at least 5 steps ahead.”

Mallory’s final Instagram post was uploaded just six days before she was found deceased in her vehicle after dining at an Atlanta-area Chipotle.

The Atlanta-area makeup artist was disappointed by an apple she bought at a farmer’s market.

In a video, the body-positive motivational speaker taste-tested a Lucy Rose apple that she picked up at a farmer’s market.

She was unimpressed to find that the inside of the apple wasn’t naturally red like it was supposed to be.

“They lied on this application…this apple did NOT meet the criteria!” she captioned the post.
