GameStop stock jumps as ‘Roaring Kitty’ shows big bet in Reddit post

Shares of GameStop have skyrocketed once again, fueled by speculation that Keith Gill, famously known as “Roaring Kitty” on YouTube and X (formerly Twitter), may be holding a substantial number of the video game retailer’s shares worth millions.

On Sunday night, a Reddit account associated with Gill, under the pseudonym “DeepF******Value,” posted a screenshot on the r/SuperStonk forum. This screenshot hinted at Gill potentially holding five million shares of GameStop, valued at approximately $115.7 million based on Friday’s closing price. Additionally, the image revealed 120,000 call options with a $20 strike price, set to expire on June 21, purchased at around $5.68 each.

Further stirring the pot, Gill’s X account posted a cryptic picture of a reverse card from the popular game Uno, with no accompanying text.
