Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service aren’t ready to “Give Up” just yet.
For the second straight year, the Ben Gibbard-fronted bands will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their seminal 2003 albums on the road.
From April through May 2024, the intertwined co-headliners have scheduled 15 concerts all over North America as part of their now-extended ‘Give Up Transatlantacism Tour.’
Along the way, they’ll bring the hits to Albany’s MVP Arena on Friday, May 3.
At all shows, DCFC and TPS have announced they’ll perform “Transatlanticism” and “Give Up” respectively — now from 21 (!) years ago — in their entirety.
And if you want to sing along to “Tiny Vessels” and “Such Great Heights” with Gibbard, Jenny Lewis and co. next spring, you can grab tickets for all concerts as soon as today.
Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, Dec. 8, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

The Postal Service news
While Death Cab For Cutie has remained active in the 20+ years since “Transatlanticism” blew up, The Postal Service has remained relatively quiet post “Give Up.”
However, just like the actual US Postal Service, The Postal Service always deliver “Give Up” — even if it takes a decade to do so.
Most recently, the trio that brought the world “Such Great Heights” and “We Will Become Silhouettes” conducted a tenth anniversary tour in 2013.
These 2023 concerts were the band’s first since that run back in ’13.
Gibbard is more than excited to revisit some of his greatest hits too.
“I know for a fact I will never have a year again like 2003,” Gibbard said in a press release. “The Postal Service record came out, ‘Transatlanticism’ came out. These two records will be on my tombstone, and I’m totally fine with that. I’ve never had a more creatively inspired year.”
Huge rock tours in 2023
“I am thinking it’s a sign” that some truly exciting acts are on the road this year.
Although there are too many to count, here are five of our most hotly-anticipated that you should 100% snatch up tickets to before it’s too late.
