‘Good Bones’ host Mina Starsiak Hawk talks relationship with Cory Miller

“Good Bones” star Mina Starsiak Hawk is finally coming clean on where she stands with her co-star Cory Miller after speculation of a falling out.

Hawk breached the topic on her podcast “Mina AF” when she was asked if she’s still friends with Miller since they both stopped following each other on social media.

“So, there’s been enough questions about Cory that I’m going to try to address this in a respectful way, again, understanding that I have a platform that he maybe doesn’t have,” she said.

The reality star revealed that they’re “not on speaking terms” and she is “positive that there are things he feels like I did to him.”

“I’ve known him since he was 11, and I’ve always had a soft spot for him,” Hawk continued.

“Good Bones” followed Hawk and her mother, Karen E. Laine, as they renovated Indianapolis homes. The show came to an end after eight seasons on Oct. 17.

Miller appeared as a project manager on the HGTV show, which debuted in 2016.

Hawk said there were “a couple things that happened towards the end” that she believed she “can’t move on from.”

She noted that she has chosen to keep bad energy out of her life and will focus on the other “amazing people” around her.

She went on: “Part of that means not hate-following or not anger-following, like, ‘Let me see what this person is doing.’”

The Midwesterner then explained why she doesn’t follow Miller, saying she’s “not interested” in seeing people on social “follow people just ‘cause they want to see them fail or fall down or look fat in a picture or whatever it is.”

“I just kind of wanted to separate that out from my world, and he probably wanted to do the same,” Hawk said.

“It’s a super bummer because I have historically had a great relationship with Cory, and when things end, particularly like they did, people’s colors just show a little more, which is a blessing because then I have the choice to make a different choice.”

The Realtor recently closed her home decor store, Two Chicks District Co., in Indianapolis.

However, she is set to open up a branch in Noblesville, Indiana, sometime in the near future.
