Gunna lives out his raps confronting a man who called him a “rat” outside of a Vegas hotel, who eventually backtracked.
Since Gunna’s been home everyone has had an opinion of him accepting an Alford plea. Everyone seems to ignore all the legal professionals and lawyers who pointed out he didn’t snitch. Lil Durk went on record claiming Gunna should have kept his mouth shut. Lil Boosie has even claimed he wouldn’t do a song with him even if he was offered a billion dollars. Gunna responded to all the chatter on his post-jail album A Gift & a Curse. One of the album’s standout tracks “rodeo dr” hinted that he had been pulling up on people calling him a rat and confronting them.
“I know some n***as locked up in the dungeon that say they feel me like a fabric
I know you heard I been pullin’ up pressin’ these n***as who claimin’ I ratted”
This weekend footage surfaced of Gunna and his security checking a man who called him a rat outside a Las Vegas hotel. In the video, the clout-chasing man can be heard calling him a “rat” before security asks him to repeat what he said.
“N***a, Gunna the rat,” he said in the video he posted. “What’d you say?” replied Gunna’s security approaching the man.”N***a, Gunna,” he nervously responded. “Nah, what you say before that?” security asked again. “Whatever I wanted to say, brother,” the proclaimed. “I want you to repeat it,” said the security, as Gunna appeared in the background.
The man backed down initially but as security walked off. He instantly regained his bravery while claiming if he was touched he would “sue the hell out of” them. Uploading a video of you being punked is a clear case of clout chasing. In the end, he knew it was in his best interest to act accordingly in the presence of Gunna.
All that for a drop of clout? You can watch the confrontation below.
