Just a few days after a massive surprise appearance from Thomas Bangalter on stage alongside Fred again.., it seems the other half of the group may be preparing his own public return soon. In a recent interview, Emmanuel de Buretel, founder of Because Music, the French executive, appears to share details regarding new work from Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
In the interview, delivered in French, de Buretel says, “Guy-Man fait son album,” which roughly translates to “Guy-Man is making his album.” Naturally, there is no further confirmation from the former Daft Punk producer, who has been less visible publicly since the dissolution of the duo. The interview is shared below, and the comment is mentioned at the 26:35 mark of the video. Much like the recent appearance on stage of Bangalter, fans will have to be patient and hope for an official confirmation from Guy-Manuel in the coming weeks.
