All Gwyneth Paltrow wants for Christmas is … to scroll through her IMDb page.
In a video promoting her lifestyle website Goop’s holiday gift guides posted to social media on Tuesday, the actress re-created the looks of some of her most beloved movie characters.
“You never know who might show up around your holiday table. Discover gifts for even the most distinct personalities,” reads the accompanying caption on YouTube.
As we meet the parade of Paltrows, each takes their seat for dinner while drinking Champagne and martinis and exchanging presents.
The most recognizable film role the 51-year-old actress revisits is Margot Tenenbaum, the rebellious WASPy daughter from 2001’s “The Royal Tenenbaums,” directed by Wes Anderson.
Not every outfit in the ad is straight from a flick, however.
Paltrow also dons the pink Ralph Lauren dress she wore to the 1999 Academy Awards where she won the Oscar for Best Actress for her performance as Viola in “Shakespeare in Love.”
Last month, the actress admitted she now uses the statue as a doorstop at her Hamptons home.
“My doorstop. It works perfectly!” she said during a “73 Questions” segment with Vogue.
At the end of the clip, she answers her house door as Pepper Potts, Tony Stark’s right hand woman in Marvel Cinematic Universe films such as “Iron Man” and “Avengers: Endgame,” who says, “Room for one more?”
The Goop spot will serve as a helpful reminder to the actress of all the famous roles she’s taken on over the years.
Back in 2019, Paltrow memorably forgot she filmed a scene as Pepper for “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” repeatedly telling its director Jon Favreau “No!” when he informed her she was actually in the film during an appearance on Netflix’s “The Chef Show.”
More recently, Paltrow revealed that she plans to “disappear from public life” once she retires.
“No one will ever see me again,” she told Bustle last month.
Paltrow plans to sell Goop eventually and hopes to retire from her business in “a few more years” to focus on her family.
