Harry and Meghan snubbed from Archie’s godfather’s wedding: report

Royal snub?

Prince Harry, 39, and his wife, Meghan Markle, 42, have reportedly been excluded from the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, 32.

Grosvenor — a godfather to Prince William’s eldest son, George, and Harry’s son, Archie — is said to be inviting King Charles III, Queen Camilla, William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, to the June 7 wedding at Chester Cathedral in England.

According to The Times, Grosvenor initially wanted to invite the Sussexes, but later decided against it after realizing their presence might overshadow his nuptials to Olivia Henson, 30.

“We are not in a position to comment on the guest list,” a Grosvenor spokesperson told the outlet.

Grosvenor is Charles’ godson — he even served an official role in the monarch’s coronation in May, according to The Times.

“It’s incredibly sad it has come to this. Hugh is one of very few close friends of William and Harry’s who has maintained strong bonds and a line of communication with both,” an unidentified friend of the estranged princes told the outlet. “He wishes they could put their heads together and patch things up, but realizes it’s unlikely to happen before the wedding.”

“He wanted to avoid anything overshadowing the day, especially for Olivia, and doesn’t want any awkwardness,” the pal added.

The Post reached out to Grosvenor, Prince Harry and Markle reps for comment.

The report comes shortly after royal expert Omid Scobie released “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival,” which paints several senior members of the House of Windsor in a negative light.

The book — temporarily pulled from shelves in the Netherlands after two senior royals were accidentally named in the Dutch version for allegedly making racist comments — details how William, 41, believes his younger brother was “brainwashed by an army of therapists.”

Scobie’s 400-page tome also details how Charles, 75, openly mocked Harry and Meghan after the couple released their Netflix series “Harry and Meghan” last year.

“[The Netflix series] took the wind out of everyone’s sails,” an unidentified royal aide told Scobie. “[Charles] went from not wanting anyone to talk about his son to openly criticizing ‘that fool.’ ”

Another bombshell revealed that William allegedly attempted to undermine Harry and Meghan.

According to the book, William “prioritized his loyalty to the monarchy” and leaked false stories about his brother and sister-in-law to the press.

Friends of William and Kate have since denied the “outrageous suggestions.”

According to royal expert Sarah Hewson, William has “no plans” to see his baby brother again unless he attends an unavoidable event.

“We have only seen Harry return for big family occasions — he came with Meghan for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, he came back for Prince Philip’s funeral, then for his grandmother’s funeral. And then of course for his father’s coronation, which albeit was a very fleeting visit,” Hewson told Fabulous, via the Sun.

As such, Meghan and Harry are not expected to attend the royal family’s get-together at Sandringham over Christmas.

“It’s very difficult to see any other occasion, other than perhaps a family funeral, where the brothers would be in the same place together,” Hewson said.
