I am an NFL wife and I’ll hook you up with a player of your own: Here’s how to apply

One NFL couple is playing matchmaker for anyone looking to become an “NFL wife,” and they’re picking up the tab on the first date.

Influencer and TikTok star Chanen Johnson said she and her husband, Saints tight end Juwan Johnson, are going to set up a “beautiful first date” with an NFL player for one lucky fan after she received an “interesting DM” on social media.

“Somebody said, ‘Plz help make me and NFL wife. Practice squad even,’” Chanen read in a video posted to their joint TikTok page.

“And it got me thinking. My husband is in the NFL, I just think it’s time for me to be an NFL matchmaker,” she said, while Johnson sat nearby with their daughter, J’adore Blessing Johnson, born in July 2023.

“As we know, there are lots of single men in the NFL and that just can’t be the case anymore, like we’re grown.

Juwan, don’t you think all these men need a woman in their life?”

Johnson said: “They need a nice lady… big personality.”

That’s when Chanen explained how the matchmaking process will work.

“So I decided that I’m going to help y’all find your perfect match and we’re going to do it position by position,” Chanen said.

“My husband is obviously a tight end so we’re going to start with tight ends, of course.”

Chanen instructed those interested to leave a comment under the video with their favorite tight end.

“I’m going to find one of y’all a beautiful first date,” she said. “Get on the roster and get back to me.”

Johnson agreed to help Chanen find a potential suitor for one lucky fan.

“It’s happening,” she said, smirking.

“Let the NFL matchmaking begin,” Chanen wrote in the caption, adding, “First date on us.”

Johnson and Chanen, who met when they were both students at Penn State, celebrated their third wedding anniversary in February.

They dated for nearly three years before tying the knot in February 2020.

The couple has a massive social media following on their individual and joint social media pages.

Chanen is a staple at Saints home games.

In March, Johnson signed a two-year contract extension with New Orleans worth $12 million with $8.5 million guaranteed.

The Saints visit the Patriots on Sunday.
