Kay Adams sending Daniel Jones a care package after ACL injury

FanDuel TV host Kay Adams is sending Daniel Jones something sweet after the Giants’ quarterback suffered a torn ACL in a loss against the Raiders on Sunday.

Adams made the revelation Tuesday on her morning show, “Up & Adams,” when Jones was set to make his weekly appearance.

“He’s not joining us today,” Adams said. “I do want to take a second to just send him best wishes for a speedy recovery.

“I can’t imagine how disappointing this must be for him … I think we’re sending him a little ‘Up & Adams’ care package.

“I think we’re sending him Nerd Ropes, some candy, like nothing that’s really gonna help him, maybe a ‘Kicking and Screaming’ DVD.

“Oh my gosh, we have to have Will Ferrell call him!” Adams said, referring to the actor who stars in the 2005 movie.

“Daniel, from ‘Up & Adams,’ we hope you see this, wishing you the best and hope you feel better.”

Kay Adams says she sent a care package to Daniel Jones after the Giants quarterback missed his appearance on her FanDuel TV show after he tore his ACL in a game against the Raiders on November 5, 2023.

Jones went down with a knee injury one play into the second quarter of the 30-6 loss to the Raiders.

The 26-year-old was getting ready to throw a pass when he appeared to fall due to a non-contact injury.

He stayed in the game for one play before his knee gave out and he exited for good.

An MRI exam Monday confirmed Jones suffered an ACL tear in his right knee, ending his season.

Jones was 4-of-9 for 25 yards before he was ruled out.

Backup Tommy DeVito relieved Jones and passed for 175 yards and a touchdown.

Jones had just returned for the Week 9 matchup at Allegiant Stadium after being sidelined three games with a neck injury.

The quarterback — who makes regular weekly appearances on “Up & Adams” every Tuesday during the 2023-24 season — confirmed he was cleared for contact on Adams’ Oct. 31 show.

Jones will miss total of 11 games.
