King Charles to hold summit with William and Kate to map out royal family’s future: source

King Charles is serious about shoring up the success of the royal family.

The monarch, 74, is set to host a summit to map out the future of the Firm at Balmoral Castle in the coming weeks, the Mirror reports.

Charles plans to chisel out specific roles for his son and heir Prince William, as well as Princess Kate and Queen Camilla.

“His Majesty is very clear. The Commonwealth must be at the very heart of his reign,” a source spilled to the publication.

“He sees it as his utmost duty to fulfill the sincere wish of his late mother [Queen Elizabeth], that one of his central roles must be to ensure not only the survival but the robustness [of the organization].”

At the high-stakes summit, Charles will also plan out the family’s goals for the next year, “including foreign travel and engagements. “

Particular pressure will be on William and Kate, with the source claiming that the couple’s “star quality” will be essential to hold the Commonwealth together.

Indeed, in recent years, Kate has allowed herself to be the shining star of the royal family.

Aside from being a fashion icon and immersing herself in charity work, she is also being hailed as the real “power behind the throne.”

“[She] has transitioned from being a young bride to being a key player within the royal family,” he said.

Bullen continued: “If you look at all the photographs now, she’s always front and center. She looked amazing at the coronation, she looked incredible at Ascot.”

Prince Charles is set to arrive at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Monday, but it’s unclear what date the summit will take place.

Balmoral was the summer residence of the late queen died, who died in September 2022 at the age of 96.

Charles immediately ascended to the throne — seven months before his coronation ceremony, which was held this past May.
