Knicks’ Jalen Brunson marries Ali Marks in Chicago ceremony

Congratulations are in order for Jalen Brunson and Ali Marks.

The Knicks star point guard tied the knot with his longtime love at Chicago’s Ritz-Carlton on Saturday, according to People.

Brunson wore a custom black tuxedo from Tom Marchitelli with Christian Louboutin loafers, according to the outlet.

Marks had on a custom off-white Eva Lendel “Lika” dressed with Christian Louboutin pumps.

Brunson’s friend and former Villanova teammate Ryan Arcidacono officiated the ceremony, which was attended by plenty of Knicks players, according to the outlet.

They included Julius Randle, Derrick Rose, RJ Barrett, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo.

Brunson’s former college teammate and Nets star Mikal Bridges was also in attendance.

The wedding featured an all-black dress code for guest

“We chose to have an all-black dress code and really amp up the romance and drama with candles everywhere, white flowers for the ceremony —orchids, roses, carnations, hydrangea, ranunculus — deep-hued flowers for the reception,” Marks told People.

The nuptials come about 10 months after Brunson and Marks announced their engagement in a September 2022 Instagram post.

“Forever,” the 26-year-old Brunson wrote.

Marks, who is a physical therapist, gushed in a separate post, “You are a lifetime.”

The proposal took place on the basketball court at Brunson’s alma mater, Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, where the lovebirds first met as students.

“We wanted to bring all of our closest friends [and] family together in a city that means so much to both of us,” Brunson told People, adding that it’s “emotional to see everyone important to us in the same room.”

Brunson got down on one knee at center court, where rose petals were displayed in the shape of a heart, surrounded by candles.

The engagement happened right in front of a white flower arch as a past high school photo of the couple was featured on the scoreboard.

Brunson and Marks visited their high school because the former Villanova product was getting inducted into the Stevenson Patriots’ Hall of Fame, according to a post on her Instagram Story at the time.

Brunson, who turns 27 in August, signed a four-year, $104 million deal with the Knicks last July after spending the first four years of his career with the Mavericks.

Brunson was also in the conversation for the 2022-23 Most Improved Player award, which went to Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen in April.
