Losing the locker room and disappointing in the playoffs led to a short stay in Los Angeles for Darvin Ham.
The Lakers fired Ham on Friday after two seasons leading the team, according to ESPN.
Los Angeles lost to the Nuggets in five games in the first round to end a disappointing season that began with championship aspirations following last year’s run to the Western Conference Finals.
The Nuggets swept the Lakers last season en route to their championship.
Ham also reportedly lost the locker room this season, with his strategies being questioned by the team.
Clippers coach Tyronn Lue and former NBA veteran and ESPN analyst J.J. Reddick have been mentioned as possible candidates.
Ham, the longtime Bucks assistant, went 90-74 in his two seasons at the helm.
