List of landing spots in free agency

One of the best pitchers in baseball is officially on the market.

Blake Snell, who is likely to win the National League Cy Young Award when the winners are announced Wednesday evening, is one of the top MLB free agents, and odds are out for his next destination.

A Mets rival is at the top of the odds board, but both New York baseball teams are in the mix to land the ace southpaw.

The Philadelphia Phillies are the favorites to land Snell at +350 odd, giving them a 22.22 percent chance to add him to their rotation, per DraftKings.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, who are expected to be the Mets’ stiffest competition in the Yoshinobu Yamamoto sweepstakes, have the second-best odds to sign Snell at +500.

The Mets, who could pair Snell with Kodai Senga at the top of their rotation to create one of the best 1-2 punches in the sport, have the third-best shot at Snell at +550 odds.

A pair of fringe contenders — the Mariners and Padres — are sandwiched between the Mets and Yankees at +650 odds.

The Bronx Bombers are at +1000, alongside American League East rivals in the Red Sox and Orioles.

There are five other teams (the Giants, Cubs, Astros, Cardinals and Reds) with odds of +1100 or worse, while the field is +1300.

Snell is coming off one of the best seasons of his eight-year career.

The soon-to-be 31-year-old posted a Major League-best 2.25 ERA over 180 innings, while striking out 234 hitters. He also led the Majors in batting average against (.181) and hits per nine innings (5.8).

After a slow start, Snell rode an unbelievably dominant end to the season to become the NL Cy Young favorite, posting a minuscule 1.20 ERA over his last 23 starts, including a 0.58 ERA in September.

If Snell does, in fact, take home the Cy Young on Wednesday night, it will be the second time he’s earned the honor after winning it in the American League with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018.
