London’s Drumsheds unveils new upgrades within the club

Drumsheds unveiled new upgrades that had been made to the club, including improvements to the sound system

Drumsheds, which was converted from a former IKEA warehouse, has made major renovations to the club. In their latest publication, they unveiled new upgrades, which included new sound equipment and a major layout change, among many other things.

About the idea

The first question might be: why does a successful Tottenham club, which has only been operating for a few years, need renovation? Perhaps the simplest answer is provided by the club’s owners, who have been paying attention to feedback after every season and even after every single show. With a capacity of 15,000 people in the former 608,000 sq ft IKEA warehouse, reviewers certainly can’t be wrong, and in just two years, visitors have posted more than 1,600 reviews on Google Maps. The London club opened its doors in 2023, making it the largest nightclub in the United Kingdom — and perhaps setting an example for many clubs that they must reinvest profits to survive. Of course, not everyone can generate such high profits. In 2024, for example, 65 UK nightclubs closed, with many citing soaring costs.

About the improvements

In their feedback, most people criticized the acoustics at Drumsheds. The club listened to its guests and surprised them with new sound technology. This includes, for example, extra bass and infra-bass speakers in the main Room X to improve the acoustic experience in the vast space. Room Y underwent a complete layout redesign to “offer an elevated dancefloor experience”. They also added a new backstage bar to the amenities to give visitors a unique vantage point behind the stage. In addition, the club added free Wi-Fi throughout the entire venue. Many people also complained that the toilets were too far away and inaccessible, and there were many complaints about the strictness of the security guards. It seems that no solution has been provided for these issues yet. Furthermore, in May this year, they also improved the queueing problem, and in January, Drumsheds had to improve their security protocols after an audit.
