Massive brawls break out during heated Dallas Cowboys practice

At least it was a padded practice.

Dallas Cowboys training camp got chippy when multiple fights broke out in Oxnard, Calif., on Wednesday.

A massive scrum between the offensive and defensive lines took place when center Brock Hoffman and defensive end Sam Williams started going at it, according to videos.

Things escalated when Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz charged at Williams and pushed him to the ground.

Williams was pulled away by multiple teammates while yelling in the direction of Biadasz, who then was involved in a second altercation, per Cowboys writer Nick Harris.

This time, it was All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons being dragged away by quarterback Dak Prescott after he was seen throwing a few punches in the melee.

Multiple Cowboys staff members were on the field and attempted to break things up.

Things appeared to blow over as the team ended the practice in a huddle with Parsons preaching a message of unity.

“Let’s come together and win a championship!” the 24-year-old Parsons said.

Training camp fights are fairly common in the NFL preseason and the Cowboys have had their share of drama already.

Things appeared to boil over between Prescott and star cornerback Trevon Diggs earlier this month.

Diggs had some words for his quarterback after Prescott attempted to escape the pass rush and run for a touchdown during practice.

“Shut yo b—h a– up,” Diggs said while Prescott stood with his hands on his hips.

Veteran safety Malik Hooker also exchanged words with Prescott, but it is unclear what was said.

Both Precott and Diggs downplayed the trash talk and explained that it makes the game better.

“At the end of the day, words are words,” Prescott said, adding that he encourages players to be vocal. “We’ve got to understand that and really believe that, so it’s going to make us better.

“As I said, a lot of times I know it’s just encouraging these guys to play their best and be accountable and really get the best out of them.”

Diggs added that he loves “Dak to death.”
