The Mets have added another name with major league experience to their list of bullpen options for next season.
Yohan Ramirez was acquired by the team on Monday from the White Sox for cash considerations, the Mets announced.
Ramirez, 28, was designated for assignment last week by the White Sox.
In 31 games last season for the Pirates and White Sox, the right-hander pitched to a 4.23 ERA.
He’s also spent time with the Mariners and Guardians during a four-year major league career.
Ramirez, who doesn’t have minor league options remaining, was placed on the 40-man roster.
He joins Austin Adams, Michael Tonkin and Jorge Lopez among new bullpen additions placed on the 40-man.
