If they lose to the Broncos and fall to 1-4 with the defending NFC champion Eagles coming to town, their playoff hopes are essentially a wrap.
Nathaniel Hackett and the Jets need to use what Payton said about him in July as motivation and make this personal.
Zach Wilson needs to have a repeat performance of last week.

- MUST-WIN: This could get ugly if the Jets lose and fall to 1-4 with the Eagles coming to MetLife Stadium next week. Coz is even calling this one a must-win. They need to win these “coin toss” games or they will have no chance at the playoffs.
- PAYTON VS. HACKETT: Are the Jets still motivated by what Sean Payton said in July about the Broncos’ coaching staff led by Hackett last year?
- FEED BREECE: The touch limits on Breece Hall are over. It’s time to feed Breece 20-25 times this week. This is the site of Hall tearing his ACL last year. Hall is a playmaker and the Jets need to get him the ball as many times as possible and establish the run game.
- PREDICTION: I’m taking the Jets 20-13. Coz is taking the Broncos 27-24.
