NLCS Game 7 odds, pick

For the first time ever, the Philadelphia Phillies will play in a Game 7 tonight.

The Arizona Diamondbacks tied the series up with their 5-1 win on Monday.

Brandon Pfaadt showcased his pitching prowess in the win, surrendering just two hits and striking out nine of the 18 batters he faced in 5 2/3 innings.

However, Torey Lovullo decided not to let him face the order a third time, opting to turn to the bullpen — a decision that ultimately paid off.

Diamondbacks vs. Phillies odds

  • Diamondbacks +1.5 (-154) vs. Phillies -1.5 (+128)
  • Diamondbacks +142 vs. Phillies -168
  • Over 8.5 (-102) | Under 8.5 (-120)

Pfaadt — who had a shaky beginning to the season but has turned it around since his return to the majors on July 22 — will get the start once again.

On the other side, Ranger Suarez, who posted fairly average numbers during the regular season, has elevated his performance in the postseason.

Over 14 innings, he conceded only one run on seven hits while racking up 13 strikeouts.

Both bullpens are fully available and expected to play a pivotal role in this battle that will show one team the World Series and the other a disappointing end to the season.
