Prince Harry ‘fed up’ with missing royal family milestones: report

Prince Harry is said to be “fed up” with missing so many royal milestones — such as Christmas — with his estranged family, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex this week decided that enough was enough and sensationally picked up the phone to call his father to wish him a happy birthday.

And it seems as though Harry hopes the phone call serves as a stepping stone for the pair’s long-overdue reconciliation.

“Harry always enjoyed large family Christmases. It’s a shame that his children will miss out on the fun,” a source told OK! magazine.

“He used to say that nobody could celebrate Christmas like the Windsors. He experienced that festive togetherness for his entire life until his move to America and he really misses it.”

“The Christmas plans are causing a bit of tension because he’s fed up with being away from everyone during key milestones,” the insider added.

The Post has reached out to reps for the Sussexes for comment.

Harry himself said he missed “the weird family gatherings when we’re all brought together under one roof for certain times of the year,” in his bombshell 2022 Netflix documentary, “Harry & Meghan.”

The Sussexes on Tuesday called the King to wish him a happy birthday over the phone — marking the first time the two camps have spoken in over six months.

The monarch reportedly received a pre-recorded video of his grandchildren, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, in which they sing “Happy Birthday” to the monarch.

But the couple were notably absent from the King’s birthday bash later that day.

It seems as though the phone call went so well that Charles and Harry have penciled in yet another over-the-phone catch-up for next week in what could be a “turning point” in their relationship.

Despite the potential to fix the soured relationship, the Sussexes will once again be spending Christmas 5,459 miles away from London in Montecito, Calif., according to a royal expert.

The pair famously skipped out on merry festivities with the royals last year, and according to royal expert and historian Tessa Dunlop, the couple will be looking to sit out a trip to Harry’s home soil once more.

“Christmas is coming and we want Meghan and Harry to inject the Windsor brand with a bit of transatlantic tension,” Dunlop told the Mirror.

“But don’t hold your breath, just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence.”

The pair reportedly have no current plans to visit Harry’s family in London at this time.

“Far from buying a penthouse near London, it doesn’t even look like King Charles will get a Christmas cuddle with those absent grandchildren,” she added, referring to the couple’s kids.

Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, now have no official place to stay in the UK after the King served them an eviction notice from their former royal residence, Frogmore Cottage.

What’s more, the couple will now have to fork out additional spending on their security when visiting Britain.
