Looks like Meghan Markle is getting a bit miffed with her husband, Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, seemingly feels that the Invictus Games founder, 39, is “tainting her brand.”
Royal expert Richard Kay appeared on the Palace Confidential podcast and noted how Markle is hard at work trying to “rebuild her brand” following the couple’s exit from the royal family in 2020.
“I think we can be sure that one thing she is really doing is being a mom and spending time with her children but it is interesting,” he explained.
Markle and Harry are parents to their son, Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2.
Kay claimed that the “Suits” alum is trying to stay silent about her next projects after Harry dropped his bombshell memoir, “Spare,” in January.
In “Spare,” he penned a multitude of explosive anecdotes about his family and caused their rift to further deepen.
However, Kay explained that staying out of the spotlight will make it “harder” for Markle to build up her trademark.
“Is it because she wanted to give a bit more space to Harry who had so much to get off his chest this year with his ghastly book and his interviews about his family?” Kay wondered.
He went on: “Maybe she wanted to put a bit of clear blue water between what he had to say and what she’s going to do next, didn’t want to taint her brand.”
“However, what is her brand and will that brand still be there? The longer she’s out of the public eye, the harder it will be to kickstart it,” Kay said.
Since departing from the Firm three years ago, Markle and Harry have signed a series of contracts including a deal with Spotify and a partnership with Netflix worth $100 million.
The former actress also signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor and is reportedly planning to relaunch her lifestyle blog, The Tig. She had shut down the site following her engagement to Harry in 2017.
A potentially rebooted version of the website would consist of articles and interviews about a variety of topics such as food, cooking, travel, relationships, fashion, style and interior design. A release date for the site has yet to be announced.
Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” told Fox News Digital earlier this year how Markle is desperate on becoming a Hollywood “power player.”
“If Meghan doesn’t end up hosting a daytime syndicated talk show, I’ll be surprised,” Andersen said.
“She certainly seems well-suited to that role in particular, and I can easily see her pursuing a career path similar to Oprah [Winfrey]’s in the media: a show, a magazine, producing, directing — the works.”
“She still has a sizeable chunk of the viewing public in her corner,” he added.
