Prince William and Princess Kate enjoyed a late night of partying as they were spotted leaving King Charles’ birthday bash late Tuesday night.
The monarch hosted his 75th birthday celebration at Clarence House — his former official residence — and the soirée had no shortage of royals in attendance.
Images of William and Kate show the couple beaming from ear to ear as they left the party in an Audi close to midnight.
The Princess of Wales, 41, looked effortlessly chic in an emerald, sequin-embellished gown, while her husband — and the heir to the throne — looked dapper in a crisp white shirt and black blazer.
The royal celebration was also attended by Princess Beatrice, Princess Margaret’s daughter Lady Sarah Chatto and, Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall, as well as her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall.
The party was also attended by the King’s leading lady — his wife, Queen Camilla, 76, as well as her son from her first marriage, Tom Parker-Bowles.
The rather sizable event also saw the late Queen Elizabeth II’s racing manager John Warren and Sarah Troughton attend, as well as Penelope Knatchbull, Countess Mountbatten of Burma.
Sarah, the Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, is the King’s second cousin.
Lady Susan Hussey, 84, the former lady-in-waiting to the late Queen Elizabeth II, was also seen at the party, while British musician Jools Holland also toasted to the King.
Other family members attending the event included the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and David Armstrong-Jones, the 2nd Earl of Snowdon.
David is the son of the late Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly didn’t make it onto the guest list for the birthday gathering and have said there’s been “no contact” from the royals about the fête.
But while the King was sure to have been showered with gifts, the biggest gift of all was receiving a phone call from his estranged son and daughter-in-law.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex extended an olive branch by reaching out to Harry’s estranged father to wish him a happy birthday over the phone.
The call marked the first time the two camps have spoken in over six months.
The King reportedly received a pre-recorded video of his grandchildren, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, in which they sing Happy Birthday to the monarch.
It seems as though the phone call went so well that Charles and Harry have penciled in yet another over-the-phone catch-up for next week in what could be a “turning point” in their relationship.
