Meghan Markle is ready to conquer Hollywood and leave the royal family behind.
Famed “Diana: Her True Story” author Andrew Morton claimed that the former actress, 42, wants to stay in California and most likely never return to England.
“Meghan is making her own life on the West Coast,” the biographer told Fox News.
“I just feel that Meghan’s never really embraced the rules and rituals of the royal family,” he explained. “The royal family is very much in the rearview mirror of her life. She’s moved on.”
The journalist added that Meghan “didn’t understand that she had to curtsy to [the late Queen Elizabeth] in private.”
“It’s no secret that there’s not much love lost between Kate [Middleton] and Meghan, and [the latter] is making her own life on the West Coast,” he noted. “I think [Prince Harry and Markle] got their own lives, and they’ve worked it out. And every day that passes, they’re more established in California.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to Montecito, California, in 2020 after taking a step back from the royal family.
“She’s a celebrity,” Morton pointed out, adding that the Golden State is crawling with “billionaires and millionaires.”
“So if they want to raise money for their charities, they’ve picked… very fertile ground. Other royals will envy that they can go to a dinner and raise millions of dollars for their charities. So that’s what they’ll do,” he said.
Harry, 39, and Markle signed an estimated $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020 to produce a medley of content for the streamer, further cementing themselves as power players in Tinseltown.
The “Suits” star is also ready to “start a new, updated version” of her old lifestyle blog, The Tig.
She had shut down the site following her engagement to Harry in 2017.
A relaunch date for the blog has yet to be announced. However, according to a document filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office, it would include pieces about food, cooking, travel, relationships, fashion, interior design, health and wellness.
“The Tig” was founded in 2014 and is named after Markle’s favorite red wine, Tignanello.
