A fan ran onto the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala. after the Tennessee-Alabama game on Saturday.
A video captured a security guard sprinting and tackling the fan, who was streaking across the field, at the 20-yard line with others quickly following behind.
After getting leveled on the field, the fan didn’t have any fight to get up and keep running or causing other antics.
The security guard casually walked away afterward.
The incident occurred as the stadium was closing up for the night after the Crimson Tide’s second-half come-from-behind 34-20 victory to get revenge on Tennessee for the upset at home last season.
Alabama was trailing, 20-7, at the half, but quarterback Jalen Milroe turned things around for the grumpy crowd in the second half of the game, outscoring the Volunteers 27-0 for the victory.
The second half was highlighted by Jase McClellan’s 20-yard rush at the beginning of the third quarter and Milroe’s 46-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond to cut the deficit to six.
In return, the Crimson Tide’s defense delivered on a three-and-out drive, limiting Tennessee’s offense greatly for the remainder of the game as each drive stalled.
The game was capped off when Tennessee’s quarterback Joe Milton was sacked by Chris Braswell, fumbling the football and it was picked up and ran in for another Alabama touchdown.
McClellan led the Crimson Tide with 115 yards on 27 carries to their seventh win of the season (7-1, 5-0 SEC), while the Volunteers dropped to 5-2, 2-2 in conference play.
