It’s a monster game in Philadelphia to close out Sunday’s slate of NFL action as the 5-1 Eagles host the 5-1 Dolphins at Lincoln Financial Field.
Philadelphia suffered its first loss since Super Bowl LVII against Kansas City as the Eagles were tripped up by the Jets last Sunday, 20-14.
The Eagles closed as 6.5-point road favorites and led 14-3 early, but the offense stalled as quarterback Jalen Hurts was intercepted three times and the Jets scored the final 17 points of the game.
Miami fell behind Carolina last Sunday, 14-0, but the Dolphins responded with 35 unanswered points and routed the Panthers, 42-21. The Dolphins cashed as 14-point home favorites, marking their third victory at Hard Rock Stadium by double-digits.
The last time the Dolphins hit the road, they were rolled by the rival Bills, 48-20, back in Week 4, marking the only loss this season for Miami.
Since the start of last season (including playoffs), the Eagles have won 11 of their past 13 home games, as one of those losses came to the Saints last season with Hurts injured.
The Dolphins have lost six of their last seven road games dating back to last season when listed as an underdog, with the lone win coming in Week 1 against the Chargers.
Betting on the NFL?
Look for Hurts to have a better game this week as he faces off against his old Alabama teammate Tua Tagovailoa, who leads the NFL in passing yards heading into Week 7.
The play: Eagles -3
