Sophia Culpo celebrated her boyfriend’s birthday with a sweet note, calling him the “most handsome” surprise of 2023.
The model recently went public with her new relationship after her split with Dolphins receiver Braxton Berrios earlier this year, which she previously said ended in betrayal.
“You just make everything better,” Sophia wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, including a video collage of moments from her current relationship. “Kind, thoughtful, FUNNY, and so very sweet.
“Happy birthday to the best, and according to my mom, ‘most handsome’ surprise of 2023.”
Sophia, 27, has yet to share her boyfriend’s name, but she previously said he is a lawyer and started featuring him on her social media pages around October.
It came months after she announced her split from Braxton on social media in March, and she said the relationship did not end well.
During a recent appearance on her sister Aurora Culpo’s “Barely Filtered” podcast with Kristen Gaffney, Sophia said she learned Braxton cheated from her other sister Olivia Culpo.
Olivia, who publicly supported Sophia after the public breakup, recalled seeing Berrios with another woman while they were at the Super Bowl in February.
Berrios was linked to TikTok star Alix Earle at the time, and they just went public with their relationship in November.
Sophia dated Berrios for two years — they lived together in New Jersey while he played for the Jets — before they broke up.
She revealed on the “Barely Filtered” podcast that she has since moved on with a lawyer.
“I made this boy wait for quite a bit [to date],” Sophia said. “I had a lot of boyfriends for a hot minute and then this one won.
“You know how he won? Because he was like, ‘I have feelings for you. I know you have kinda of a roster.’
“Those were his words,” she recalled while laughing.
“He is a lawyer… and he’s very funny and so sweet. He’s getting me into mediation.”
